At least my mind was…

The idea for my latest release, Seduced by a Stranger, began with a simple everyday occurrence; the morning mail delivery.

One morning, a few months ago, instead of the usual mail man, a pretty young woman whom I’d never seen before, or since, delivered my mail. I took one look at this delightful creature and my brain whirled into action. We exchanged no more than a simple “Good morning” and then she was gone.

Following her departure, I couldn’t stop day-dreaming about what might happen if a sexy stranger came to my door asking for something—my help, directions, or whatever. When you start to think about it, the possibilities for such a scenario are as endless as your imagination. Needless to say one thought led to another then another and gradually this story was born.

I didn’t want to turn out a clichéd romance—stranger turns up, hey presto love at first sight, they have sex, and HEA.

This story, I hope, is more complex.

Cal isn’t in the market for love; she’s self contained, celibate, and happy with the status quo. She fears Alice will complicate her life and her fears seem fully justified when she discovers that Alice has deceived her. Cal resists the lure of sex with this beautiful young woman but in the end it is too tempting to pass up. However, she is determined to stick to her guns; sex without strings and definitely no commitment.

Maybe I should confess at this point that I do actually live in a remote location; at the end of a narrow lane going nowhere except for a tract of wild forest, but that is the only fact in this work of fiction. The rest of the story, including the characters, is pure invention coupled with a large amount imagination on my part. Those who know me will attest to the fact that I do not resemble either Cal or Alice in any respect.

Seduced by a Stranger

Cal Carson is sorely tempted when a stranger arrives at her door offering sex but is the price too high?

When Cal Carson’s self-imposed solitary existence is disturbed by the unexpected arrival of a sexy femme she fights the urge to grab what’s on offer and ignore the consequences.

Alice claims she just wants to have sex with Cal, nothing more, but then she reveals that the offer comes with unacceptable strings like love and commitment.

Cal refuses to let romance gatecrash her well ordered life, not even by the back door. Will she be able to resist temptation or is her life about to take a turn for the worse?

Have I got myself a stalker?

An icy shiver raced down my spine with the thought that Alice might have found and somehow overcome the barriers I’d erected around my private life. I didn’t want to contemplate the stress and potential headaches that might result from such a situation. What if I had to change my name? I didn’t want the hassle of having to start all over with a new identity or even a new place to hide.

I fixed my sights on Alice seeking a logical explanation for her behavior yet finding none. Nevertheless, I’d be wise to give her the benefit of the doubt until I had some proof of wrongdoing. Maybe I was mistaken and her wish to speak with me was a totally innocent desire for information or help. I wouldn’t get anywhere by allowing paranoia to cloud my judgment.

“So, what do you want with me?” I winced at the too sharp edge to my voice. I wanted to get her talking not frighten her away.

Alice shifted her gaze to the floor, clearly flustered by my harsh tone. “Nothing… It doesn’t matter. I…I’ve changed my mind. I ought to go.”

Go where? Without a serviceable vehicle, she didn’t have that many options.

Unless she risked a sprained ankle walking to the highway wearing those ridiculous shoes, Alice was stuck fast until help arrived or I got my Jeep out and drove her into town—which wasn’t an option I favored. “Don’t be silly, you can’t go now, it’ll be dark soon and the storm is about to hit. Besides, whatever brought you all the way out here must have been important.” I gave her what I hoped was an encouraging smile. “Why don’t you tell me what it is you want with me? I don’t bite.”

Not unless you ask me very nicely, then I might oblige.

My gaze slipped down her slender neck to linger on the swell of her breasts. The soft creamy white flesh rose and fell with her rapid breathing. Her cleavage called on my tongue to plunder its deep cleft. Throbbing heat rushed to my core. Oh, how I ached to rip away the fabric, to strip her bare and feast upon her naked body. I wanted to discover how soft her skin felt under my lips, how sweet she tasted on my tongue, or how she sounded when I ripped an orgasm from that sexy body.

Down girl!

The wild sexual fantasy brewing in my mind was merely the product of a frustrated bitch in heat who needed to think with her brain not her cunt. I made a real effort to pull myself together, to drag my thoughts out of the gutter, and focus on Alice as a person. Her air of fragility played to my butch strengths making me long to hold her tight and protect her from harm. While her natural beauty attracted me on an esthetic plane, the heavy Goth style eye makeup didn’t do a thing to enhance her appearance. In fact, I had to quell a desperate urge to scrub it off and discover what was underneath. Read more…

Consuming Passion

Photobucket

What is a girl to do when a simple supper invitation turns into a night of seduction?

When sexy blonde Arlene issues an invitation to supper Jay has no expectations other than enjoying a pleasant evening with her new friend. How will Jay react when she discovers Arlene plans to put her on the menu?

Excerpt:

I turned away from the table before I disgraced myself by prematurely picking at the feast and gave my attention to her artwork. Like the rest of the room, her pictures followed a theme; mainly abstracts a mixture of vibrant hues and pastel shades all swirled together into amazing fractals yet still retaining a recognizable image. In addition to the abstracts, something else caught my eye—the striking pen and ink study of a nude stood out by being completely different from all the other pictures.

Was it of Arlene?

Impossible to tell, with the head turned away although the artist had drawn every other feature of the seated figure with great attention to detail. I moistened my dry lips and let my eyes trace the erotic pose to the focal point between the model’s thighs.

Did the flowing tunic Arlene wore hide this delectable frame?

I couldn’t wait to find out. My body thrummed with the euphoric anticipation of sampling those generous tits or burying my face in that exquisitely inviting pussy. Read more

Blurb:

Two women thrown together by circumstance fight their attraction for each other.

When banker Taylor Hendry swaps jobs and apartments with her colleague, Samantha Crighton, it seems a good deal until she meets Samantha’s flat mate, Ellie. Taylor lusts after Ellie, from the outset, but is wary of emotional involvement with this tall, dark, sexy, femme after Sam warned her not to mess with Ellie’s vulnerable emotions.

Journalist, Ellie Lawrence, finds her attraction to Taylor confusing. She’s never had a lesbian relationship, not even a girl crush; but Taylor’s arrival provokes intense sexual feelings, which clamor for fulfillment. For the first time in her life, she wants to have full-on mad passionate sex with a woman.

Excerpt:

“Oops!” Ellie giggled as she ricocheted off the doorframe straight into Taylor’s arms, a tingle of excitement shot through her body and ignited a fire in her pussy as one flailing hand made contact with Taylor’s soft breast. “We really shouldn’t have finished that second bottle of champagne.”

“We?” Taylor raised a questioning eyebrow. “You drank most of it by yourself. I hardly touched a drop.”

Ellie frowned. “Did I…?” She tried to focus her mind. A whole bottle sounded scary, and way above her normal limit of two or at the very most, three small glasses of wine. Although the ruinously expensive Bollinger champagne they’d drunk at tonight’s charity do hadn’t seemed nearly as potent as her usual tipple. Besides which, she had definitely needed something to fight off the strange desire to jump another woman.

Was the drink clouding her judgment?

No—she was sober enough to know her own mind. An icy shiver trickled down her spine as the realization dawned. For the first time in her life, she wanted to have full-on mad passionate sex with a woman. Not just any woman either, she wanted to fuck Taylor Hendry so bad it hurt.

Something incredible happened to her the moment this stunning woman walked into her life. Her heartbeat raced into overdrive again just reliving the split second when she’d connected with Taylor’s iridescent cobalt-blue eyes. Then, when her gaze had swept over that sexy body clad in a gray pin-stripe business suit a switch had flipped in her brain.

“Yes, you did.” Taylor steered her firmly across the room towards the sofa. “Here, sit down and I’ll make us some coffee.”

Already unsteady on her feet, Ellie caught her heel in the carpet and fell backwards onto the floor taking Taylor down on top of her.

Their eyes met and locked and the world stopped turning.

All the air whooshed out of her lungs leaving Ellie a prisoner trapped in a web of incredible mind-blowing sensation, unable to move or breathe, drowning in a maelstrom of erotic imagery.

Then their lips touched and the electric shock brought her world back into sharp reality.

“Oh…” Ellie expelled her mortification on a ragged breath.

Could I really have kissed another woman?

No. For a start, that fleeting touch of lips wasn’t a proper kiss, and she didn’t even know which of them had initiated it but it had happened and they couldn’t take it back.

“I’m so sorry… I…”

“Shush.” Taylor silenced her apology by resting one slender finger against her lips. After a moment it moved, circling her lips slowly until they parted under the gentle pressure. Something prompted Ellie’s tongue to snake out and touch the tip and then, emboldened, she drew the whole finger into her mouth. Sucking, savoring, sweeping its length with her tongue until overwhelmed by desire, she bit down on it.

Taylor’s groan rang in her ears, as if from a long way away—the sound echoing her own rising excitement.

How did one become so aroused from such a simple act?

Her clit throbbed. No, not just her clit, Ellie marveled how swiftly and urgently her whole body had responded to the stimuli.

Shyly she reached out to touch Taylor’s face. Her fingers drifted across high cheekbones down her neck then on through the valley between her breasts teasing open each tiny iridescent pearl button on her evening shirt as she went. All the time her gaze never strayed from Taylor’s, watching, waiting, for some sign of rejection.

Ellie moistened suddenly dry lips with the tip of her tongue. This was virgin territory; so to speak, with no roadmap to guide her way she had only a vague idea how to reach the ultimate destination. Taylor clearly didn’t intend to help her but neither had she done anything to hinder so, although terrified of putting a foot wrong and messing things up, she’d have to trust in her instinct.

The breath caught in her throat when the front fastening on Taylor’s bra gave way and both breasts spilled out into her hands. A soft fragrance, sultry yet sort of mysterious drifted off her skin, reminding Ellie of the exotic blooms in her grandmother’s conservatory.

Holy cow! I’ve really stepped over the line now.

Without thinking of the consequences, her thumbs moved to caress Taylor’s nipples. As she manipulated them into hard buds, Ellie longed to take one of the jeweled tips into her mouth, to feel them grow, and experience the sweetness on her tongue but shyness prevented her putting that desire into practice.

An all-consuming fire infused Ellie’s body. Her breasts felt heavy, the nipples both tingling and aching, while her pussy throbbed out its own message of urgency.

Now what?

Where do I go from here?

Whistle Bait is a 1950s-set lesbian erotic romance from my fellow loveyoudivine author M. King. I can highly recommend it.

Blurb: When Betty’s drive-in movie date goes sour, help comes from an unexpected source. But, in the stifling Midwest of the 1950s, young ladies are not supposed to ditch their dates for other girls….

Betty Shaw’s best friend, Lois, is the type of girl Betty’s always envied—not that she wants to admit it. By turns flirtatious, controlling, and downright manipulative, when Lois drags her to a double date at the movies, Betty can’t say no, and she ends up in a whole world of humiliation. Yet, just as she thinks the night can’t get much worse, Betty meets Paula, and everything starts to change.

Excerpt:
Her shoes sank into the boggy ground, so much softer now than it had been when they arrived, and she knew Ricky must be getting out of his side, too, but she couldn’t see anything except the rain and the black-and-white ghosts of the movie flashing back off row after row of parked, wet cars. For a moment, Betty thought to go to where Hank’s Buick was parked and hammer on the window for Lois, but—like almost every other couple here tonight—she knew Lois probably wouldn’t even hear her, and besides, right now the thought couldn’t cut through Betty’s gut-deep fury. This was all Lois’ fault anyway, and she would never, ever forgive her.

Ricky was out of the car now, making his way toward her, his hand gliding along the hood as he used it to keep his balance. The rain slicked his skin, the silvered light of the screen flickering over him.

“Betty! Come here…don’t be stupid!”

A defiant, ragged noise—not quite a scream, not quite a cuss—broke from her mouth, and she ducked back between the rows of cars, running as fast as she could with the mud and puddles splashing up her legs, pulling her back down with every movement. Betty yelped at the feel of her garter belt snapping, one of the clasps giving way under the strain. She pushed on, past the oblivious shadows in the faceless cars, and she was vaguely aware of the blurred flash of neon that must have been the concessions stand, and that must mean she was close to the way out. Betty had no idea what she’d do or where she’d go once she did get out, but that didn’t seem to matter, because she was just running and running, and she barely noticed the figure she collided with until it was almost too late.

She hit at speed, and the other person cried out, and then before she knew what had happened, Betty had hit the ground, her ankle turning out awkwardly and her hand grazing painfully on a sharp stone. The shock of the impact winded her for a minute, and she sat there, dumb and blind, shallow breaths coming fast, high in her chest.

“Are you all right? Hello? Can you hear me?”

She looked up, blinking into the rain. Somewhere, a low rumble of thunder rolled, the yellow underbelly of steel-gray clouds painting the evening sky. A faintly familiar face frowned down at her in concern, and then the girl from the concessions stand was kneeling at Betty’s side. One warm, gentle hand came to smooth back the escaped tendrils of her hair, and Betty felt all the makeup Lois had so lovingly applied sliding in the rain. It stung her eyes, but all she could see was Paula, her mouth moving and odd, disjointed words coming out.

“Come on. You come with me. I’ll get you cleaned up. Can you stand? Oh, that’s right…there you go. It’s not so bad. Come along, honey, this way.”

Betty stood, wincing at the flare of pain in her ankle, wiping her palm on her borrowed dress before she realized she’d left a smear of blood behind. A torn garbage bag—Paula must have been carrying it when Betty cannoned into her—had disgorged its load of crumpled paper cups, soiled napkins and old food onto the muddy ground, and Betty thought for a moment she ought to stop and try to help tidy up.

Paula tugged at her hand. “Don’t be silly. Leave that. Come on…that’s right, you lean on me. We’ll take a look at that ankle, too.”

Obediently, Betty limped where Paula led her, around the back of the concessions stand. She pulled back the already dislodged chain link and ushered Betty through, into the alley that lay beyond.

“Go on, it’s all right.”

Betty ducked nervously beneath the wire and glanced around. Though a little glad she hadn’t had to walk past all the cars, she had no idea where this dank, dim place opened out to, nor how she was supposed to get back to the bus stop. Just follow the road, she guessed, though the thought of trying to walk anywhere right now made Betty feel sick.

A set of steps led up to a brick wall—the back of the diner they’d passed on the way in—and an old wooden door. Confused, Betty just stood there, hugging her arms to her cold, wet dress, her whole being useless and stupid.

Paula took a key from her pocket and unlocked the door. She glanced at Betty and smiled. The rain had flattened that glossy high ponytail considerably, damp rat-tails framing her face.

“It’s okay, I’m not kidnapping you. This is the diner I work at during the week…you might have seen it on your way in. I’m always telling Mr. Menkin he could make more money staying open on weekends, but he’s a stickler for Shabbat. Come on.”

  • The Allure Of Innocence
I have a confession. I find inexperience sexy. Not innocence, necessarily, not the fresh faced, youthful, never been touched thing, but the act of bringing pleasure to someone who hasn’t experienced it before. I blame this entirely on having seen Sex, Lies and Videotape when I was young and impressionable. The notion of a woman [...]

Bound By Consent contains five short stories charting about a year in lives of two women, Bryana Austin and Cassie Stuart, following them from a chance encounter on a Scottish mountain to London, Amsterdam, New York and finally back to Scotland. Way back in 2008, when I embarked on Taming Bryana, the first story in [...]
  • Learning To Write (Again)
I started seriously writing fiction in my teens. Like most new authors, I started by writing about myself, with a run of heroines who looked, and acted a lot like me. This can be entertaining and cathartic, but unless you’re Jeanette Winterson, it doesn’t tend to work well for the professional stuff. People with wild, [...]

Today sees the release of Meeting of Minds the third book in the Mistress of Seduction series. The story so far: When Bryana and Cassie first met on a cold, misty, Scottish mountain neither of them knew that the single night they spent together in Cassie’s dungeon would lead to anything more permanent. Bryana wasn’t [...]
